Hi there 👋

This month, we’ve released two major new features: multi-phase onboarding and task management. With onboarding, you’ll be able to spread out communication and keep new hires engaged from “yes” to desk. And with task management, you’ll be able to better manage your action steps within the platform and collaborate with other users.

Let’s dive in…

Break up your onboarding program into multiple phases

For those of you using our onboarding module, you’ve been able to create a customized program to collect information from new hires and welcome them to your team. However, because the entire program was sent to the new hire at the same time, they could easily become overwhelmed if the program was too long or too complex. Now, you’ll be able to break up your onboarding program into multiple phases, to help spread out communication and keep new hires engaged until their first day of work.

Screengrab of managing tasks in Pinpoint

Manage tasks within Pinpoint

Customers asked us for a better way to manage their action steps in our platform, and now we’re thrilled to announce our new task management system. You’ll be able to create tasks, give them a due date, connect them to specific jobs or candidates, and assign them to yourself or other users. Each user can receive a notification when a task is assigned to them and get a weekly summary of upcoming tasks. This will make it easier to manage your recruiting to-do list and collaborate better with other users.

Sterling integration with Pinpoint

Use the new Sterling integration for background checks

Many of our customers use Sterling as their background check provider, and now you’ll be able to manage that process more efficiently with our new integration.

Even more updates

In addition to the new features above, now you can also…

  • Indicate if a job is fully onsite, fully remote, or hybrid
  • Use Dutch as a language option on your careers site
  • Mark outbound messages to candidates as sensitive and hidden
  • Add and update notification preferences for an entire access group

A monthly tip from Pinpoint power users...

Use tags to efficiently review, search, and analyze candidates. Implementing a tagging system for candidates can speed up your workflow in several ways. You can apply tags to candidates automatically based on their responses to application questions, in bulk based on your search filters, or individually as you review your latest applications. Once the candidates have been tagged, this provides an easy way for you or your colleagues to find them later and perform bulk actions on them. And you’ll be able to see insights reports and schedule custom reports based on your tags. Learn the basics of how to set them up here.

Goodbye

And that’s it for this month. We’d love you to get in touch if there’s anything we can help with, or if you have feedback on this latest product update.
