I’m Alex Brewer-Prentice, Customer Success Manager at Pinpoint. This month, I’m sharing some helpful updates to scorecards, offer permissions, and the release of the hotly anticipated approval delegation. Let’s dive in.
The most significant change to scorecards this month is that they now require users to submit them formally. This is significant because it unlocks a host of other functionality:

The first new permission for offers is a setting that allows users to adjust already signed-off offers without needing to restart the approval process. This means you can edit the start and expiry date and then send a new offer without requiring a second sign-off—a much simpler, faster way to manage revisions.
The second new permission allows a user to view offers without giving them the ability to send or edit offers. This ensures that you can manage access to sensitive information more effectively.

An exciting feature in this release is the new ‘Away Mode’. When you update your status to ‘Away’, this feature automatically delegates your approval responsibilities to a nominated user, ensuring that workflows continue smoothly in your absence.
Away Mode also stops the platform from inviting you to interviews, keeping the booking process smooth and simple.
You can access this feature by clicking on your profile picture in the top right and selecting ‘Update Your Status’. You can either set a start date and time or start immediately. And you can either set an end date or leave it live until you update it manually when you’re back and ready.
An important one to help support compliance and consistency across your roles, we’ve created a field that is automatically added to job descriptions when they sync with job boards.
This makes it easy to share consistent information, such as disclaimers, equal opportunity notices, or other important details that apply to all job postings. And it ensures every listing contains the same essential messaging.
You can find this field under the Company-> Profile page, under the ‘Data Protection’ tab.
